Princeton Mortgage

Revitalizing a decades old mortgage institution.

Problem:

Princeton had an outdated design system, web infrastructure, and weak messaging surrounding their decades old reputation, skill set, and ability to close loans.

Solution:

Beginning with the team/recruiting site as an adventure to revitalize the brand, move to a static site via Jekyll and CloudCannon, update colors, and typography. Most of the messaging was building a stonger tagline around their "Effortless Mortgage", softening colors to be friendlier to the consumer, and bringing in design patterns and image containers to make designs more dynamic.

Updated branding

The logo couldn't be touched, but aside from their logo they had zero consistent branding. This isn't unexpected when dealing with mortgages. Mortgage companies are notoriously run by the sales people and not leadership. This leads to major inconsistencies with branding, design methods, and materials. The goal with the updated branding was to give a baseline sales people should strive for.

Web Elements

Using the new updated elements as the baseline the next major project was the careers site. The site was developed by me using Jekyll, Sass, and Siteleaf as the CMS. Forms were submitted using FormSpree.
